Courtney Frisse is fascinated with light, form, shadow, and shape. This fascination has led her to a lifetime career devoted to photographing artwork, as well as her pioneering personal work with environmental light projections. She has also enjoyed a foray into sandblasted glasswork and the world of wholesale and retail craft shows.

Her commercial work includes photography of an extensive range of fine art, crafts, installations, and historic architecture. Her photographs have been published in numerous gallery and museum catalogs, books, and art magazines.  Since moving to Portland, Oregon in 1995, she has specialized in photographing for individual artists, bringing her years of accumulated skills to one goal:  presenting artists' work as strongly as possible to jurors, gallery owners, curators, and prospective buyers.

Courtney maintains a studio at the Broadway Studios building, 707 NE Broadway, Portland, Oregon.
